“Amandeep Singh” who was placed at “IBM” talks about his interview experience and some other tips to prepare for placement season. Check out what he says about placement season. But before that let us tell you something about him. Aman is a very fun loving person. He is a very kind and helpful person who firmly believes in conceptual knowledge rather than bookish knowledge. He is a state level sports person who also loves to write. He is famous among his friends for writing great poems on college life, friends and everything that is related to college.

Interview difficulty level: 6/10 (1-very easy, 10-very Difficult)

Here are the questions we asked from Aman to know about his interview experience.

Question 1: Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).

Answer: Written test was from two different domains 1). number series (there were

1). number series (there were a total of 15 series questions and they were of the tough level, and that’s why if you will be able to solve 8-9 series questions then you will surely be towards your first clearance step)

2). basic knowledge about mail writing (solve more than half and you will get the plate of interview food served right at your table)

Question 2: Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any).

Answer: Only one technical round. In technical, they asked me about my project, basic C language and whatever technical stuff was there on my resume. So go through all the things you have written in your resume.

Question 3: Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.

Answer: Single round: HR was very simple. They asked simple Questions : introduction, about family and background, your hobbies, your passion, your weakest and strongest points.

Question 4: What do you think were key factors for your selection?

Answer: I think I was open, confident and had a strong command of the things I have mentioned in the resume and in my introduction.

Question 5: What would you like to advise juniors for technical skills they should develop for this company?

Answer: Just go through basics of C language, you must have good knowledge about your projects and a good command over any one of your core subject.

Question 6: What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?

Answer: Be yourself, be open, be confident, have a strong command on the things you have mentioned in the resume and in your introduction.
