Pulkit Kapoor’s Reliance Interview Experience

Here are the questions we asked from Pulkit to know about his interview experience.

Question 1: Introduce yourself to our readers.

Answer 1: My name is Pulkit Kapoor. I was born and brought up in Amritsar. I did my six months internship at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Gurgaon. I was allocated 1 major project and 2 minor projects. I saved Rs.8 lakhs per year for the vendor company in my project ” Quality improvement in Roof Lining”. During my college time, I led a team of 15 members for the Go-Kart championship in which we secured all India 17th rank out of 133 teams. I was a part of many cultural fests organising teams. I am an active member of Thapar University Badminton team.

Question 2: Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).

Answer: The test was conducted by AMCAT.

The written test comprises of 2 parts:

Part-1: was an aptitude test comprising of 3 sections: Quant, English, Reasoning. There was sectional cut off for each section. The level of difficulty was easy to moderate. Basic mathematics knowledge would easily help you clear these sections.

Part-2: was a technical test comprising of 50 questions in 30 minutes. Questions from mostly all the subjects studied in engineering were asked. Only Reasoning questions were asked. No formulae based questions were there. The difficulty of this section was moderate.

You have to clear all the sections to proceed to the next round.

Question 3: Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.

Answer: There was only 1 round of interview which comprises of both the HR and Technical questions. Questions such as introduce yourself, Family members, why Reliance, questions based on the resume were asked. Before the interview, they will ask you to fill in a detailed form in which we have to rate our command on some subjects. So, questions from those subjects were asked.

Question 4: Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.

Answer: Only 1 round of interview. Simple HR questions were asked.

Question 5: What do you think were key factors for your selection?

Answer: Confidence, Passion for work, Convincing nature, Cheerful throughout the interview were key factors because of which I got selected.

Question 6: What would you like to advise juniors for technical skills they should develop for this company?

Answer: Prepare 2 technical subjects. they will ask you questions from the subjects which you will mention on the form. And don’t rate yourself 4/5 or less. Always rate yourself 5/5 in those subjects. And be confident about them.

Question 7: What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?

Answer: HR questions were quite simple. No preparation is needed.
