Question 1: Introduce yourself to our readers.
Answer : see myself as a very enthusiastic person and one who is always eager to learn new things. I am someone who can adapt to any situation. I thrive in a fluctuating environment and transform unexpected obstacles into stepping stones for achievements. My life goes by a single motto: “Do it with all the passion or not at all”.
Question 2: Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).
Answer:One online Test with 5 sections – Attention to Details, Quant, Verbal, LR and technical (Only for TA profile candidates). There were around 70 questions to be attempted in 85 minutes, therefore speed and accuracy was the key to crack this round. The questions were most easy and straightforward. There was No negative marking but the test had sectional cut-off. The platform used was Hire-pro.
Question 3: Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any).
Answer. The next round was a Video interview. There were 8 questions in total, 4 situation based questions and 4 technical questions (only for TA candidates). Technical questions were mostly based upon DBMS. Approach was the key here and not the code. Next up was a case study interview. Each shortlisted candidate was given a case study to be solved in 30 minutes. TA profile candidates had to write SQL/algorithms to solve the case study. After the allotted 30 minutes, each candidate was called to discuss the case with the interviewer. Again, approach was the key. Even if you don’t know SQL, just explain the approach and you’ll be fine. Interview Duration: 30-45 mins for each candidate.
Question 4: Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.
Answer:The shortlisted candidates had a single HR round (some had to go through two HR rounds). The interview was based around puzzles, guesstimates and general questions like “Why ZS?”, “Project Experince” etc. Just be confident and have a clear mindset. Have your answers backed up by facts & figures to have a smooth interviewing process. Interview Duration: 30-45 mins.
Question 5: What do you think were key factors for your selection?
Answer:All-round CV with balanced academics and extra-curricular, Confidence and ability to connect with the interviewer. Having clear though process and interacting as much as possible with the interviewer definitely helped me.
Question 6: What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?
Answer:.Make Google your best friend and go through maximum puzzles and guesstimate approach. Be honest and introspect yourself. Have confidence and try to interact as much as possible with the interviewer. Have clear thoughts and knowledge about the company ( Paying attention in PPT will surely help). Pro Tip: Seniors turn out to be the guiding light in such tensed situations
