Here are the questions we asked from Shivani to know about her interview experience.
Question 1: Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).
Answer: Online written test– One round of online written test(amcat platform). The test was adaptive and consisted of 3 sections: Aptitude, Verbal and Data reasoning. Aptitude and reasoning sections were very easy but verbal section consists of some good questions. Questions were based on Jumbled sentences, Synonyms, Antonyms, Passage reading.
Question 2: Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any).
Answer: After the online written test, it was followed by case discussion ( a group of 10 students) had to come to a viable solution at the end of the round, after case discussion which was an elimination round it was followed by one round of interview.
In the interview for the technical skills they checked my knowledge of python and asked me various questions on it, as the Field is related to tax we all were sceptical that should we be aware of finance but they made it clear that we want people on the technological front rather than number crunchers.
Question 3: Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.
Answer: I had one round of interview which lasted 35 minutes and that interview was a mix of technical and hr questions. Hr round questions included simple questions like describing yourself, how are you different from others and situational questions like choose between a startup or a well-settled firm and why and further questions were all linked to my present answers.
Question 4: What do you think were key factors for your selection?
Answer: I think my key factors were my confidence and interest in analytics field.
Question 5: What would you like to advise juniors for technical skills they should develop for this company?
Answer: As it is a consultancy firm so the students should have a slight knowledge of python or R and even basic excel shortcuts.
Question 6: What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?
Answer: A simple advice is to be confident and be stuck to your answers no matter how much the stress is during an interview. You have to show them that you are ready to handle even the toughest situations.
