Here are the questions we asked Abhinav Singh to know about his interview experience.
Question 1: Introduce yourself to our readers.
Answer: I am Abhinav Singh from Kolkata and pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Thapar University in Computer Science. I have always been passionate about coding. My qualities are self-motivated, easily adapting to the environment, and hardworking.
Question 2: Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round, and type of test platform (online – amcat, hackerearth, etc / offline)
Answer: There was no written test.
Question 3: Describe your all technical interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round (if any) (please share coding questions if possible)
Answer: There were 2 rounds of interviews.
1st round -> Just one coding question was asked and it was spiral traversal of a binary tree.
2nd round -> Technical plus HR. For the technical part, they asked basic questions on OS, DBMS, and OOPS and also 1 coding question.
Question 4: Describe your all HR interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round
Answer: In HR, they just asked about the issue of relocation.
Question 5: What were the key factors for your selection?
Answer: I have good basic concepts and knowledge of coding.
Question 6: What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?
Answer: Practice on geeksforgeeks for coding questions, placement questions of companies.
OS, DBMS, and OOPS concepts are required, CN is asked in very rare companies.
Question 7: According to you, what role do extracurricular activities as well as participation in societies play?
Answer: I wasn’t a part of any society so I don’t think that students from societies had any benefits which I didn’t have. But yes something like UIP, is really beneficial because you got to know about the placement experiences of different companies.
Question 8: Any Other Advice you would like to give to your juniors?
Answer: Just stay calm. In the starting, if you are not getting placed and your friends are, don’t panic.
