Here are the questions we asked from Akmal Faraz Raza to know about his interview experience.

Question 1:Introduce yourself to our readers.

Answer: I am a sports fanatics. Loves playing with numbers.

Question 2:Describe Your written test experience specifying number of rounds ,details of each round and type of test platform(online -amcat,hackerearth etc offline)

Answer: There was one online round comprising of 50 mcqs where most of the questions were asked from topics like c,c++ outputs sql,oops,shell scripting,english (2 easy passage) and some reasoning questions.

Question 3:Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any)(please share coding questions if possible)

Answer: I had to go through one technical round which lasted for around 45 minutes.

Question 4:Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round

Answer: I had to go through 2 hr rounds. Normal hr questions were asked which was just a formality. Questions like why do u want to join Amdocs,what are ur expectations from the company , will you do MS in future etc were asked.

Question 5:Key factors for your selection

Answer: Good reasoning skill,sql, strong foundation in C++,

Question 6:Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop

Answer: You should be proficient in coding in either Java or C++. And for DBMS, OS, networking , whatever you are taught in class is more than enough.

Question 7:Advice to juniors for cracking HR round

Answer: Just be confident and yes hr round for technical profile is just a formality . They just check if you can talk properly or you are really interested in joining the company.

Question 8:Which are the subjects one should have a thorough knowledge about, to gain an edge over other students (specific to your branch)?

Answer: I think if u have a strong concept of Data Structure and some good reasoning skills, u can crack any interview.So, most of ur focus in preparation should be on coding in any one language.

Question 9:Any co-curricular activities (that you were a part of) that you think are worth mentioning?

Answer: No, i didn’t participate in any co-curricular activities.
