Here are the questions we asked from Anjali Garg to know about her interview experience.

Question 1:Introduce yourself to our readers.

Answer: Hi, I am a hardworking person who bealieve in dreams and making them true. Both academics and society culture of thapar had been a unseperable part of my life span in thapar.

Question 2:Describe Your written test experience specifying number of rounds ,details of each round and type of test platform(online -amcat,hackerearth etc offline)

Answer: It was a quanti + verbal + reasoning test consisting of 3 rounds of 25+25+35mins with 25+25+20 ques respectively. Level of round was neither too tought nor too easy, there were long passages but time was not a challenge.
You need to have good mathematics and reasoning skills.

Question 3:Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any)(please share coding questions if possible)

Answer: After online test there was a JAM for BTA USI. You have the advantage of choosing second topic if you don’t like the first one. You have 30 sec to think and 1 min to speak. Then there were few counter ques on your speech (allowed in few rooms). Topics of JAM for me was “tech company that influenced your life”. I talked about my 2 months internship at SANDISK (WDC). Other topics were like data is the new fuel, can human replace robots. The key for JAM is to full out as many threads as you can on the topic given i.e. more aspects of the topic.

After JAM it was a 1-1 interview approx of 10-15mins (at 1am) totally based on resume. Starting from introduce yourself, to questions on capstone project and paper. The discussion of capstone went for 3mins and on paper for 1-2 mins. Then asked abt do u know coding? I am a non coder but i worked on assembly language and have hands in python at WDC. The same interview later continued with HR ques…

Question 4:Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round

Answer: After technical in same interview they asked about task you accomplished and you are prowd of? (Counter ques included…it went for 5 mins for me to convince her that i have done the task myself)
Why deloitte? (Bealieve me refer to the words on their website…it works)

Question 5:Key factors for your selection

Answer: Honesty

Question 6:Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop

Answer: Just know what you have done in your project. It’s your project you should be the master of it. They ask you ques based on the terms you use while explaining your project.
You don’t know coding its totally fine but do convince that you can work on algos.

Question 7:Advice to juniors for cracking HR round

Answer: Have a good extracurricular, and keep the interview in the directions you know. If you don’t know things say it simply and do tell the things you know.
