Here are the questions we asked from Ansh Arora to know about his interview experience.

Question 1:Introduce yourself to our readers.

Answer: Being from a middle class family, I believe in hard work. I believe finding your passion is a waste of time and anything you invest your time in becomes your passion.
According to me, motivation is a myth and it’s all about the correct habits.

Question 2:Describe Your written test experience specifying number of rounds ,details of each round and type of test platform(online -amcat,hackerearth etc offline)

Answer: There was one online round which consisted of questions from dbms, os, aptitude of normal difficulty and in the coding part, there were 2 questions, 1 was from graphs (bfs) and the other was of dp.

Question 3:Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any)(please share coding questions if possible)

Answer: I had 2 rounds of in person interview. In the first round,

I was asked to check if 2 expression trees were same or not. I’d never tried this question before, so it took me approximately 40 minutes in which I gave him 5-7 approaches which he repeatedly told me to optimise.

After that he asked me about re arrange a linked list (1st last 2nd 2nd last …).

He then asked me how to find square root of a number without using inbuilt functions. I first told him an O(n) solution and then optimised it to O(logn)

He then came back to the first question, and asked me to optimize it even further which I eventually did.

I was called for the second round.

I was asked questions from OS(Scheduling), real life uses of scheduling, 2 puzzles and other dp questions.

I was selected after 2 rounds but some even had 3 rounds.

Question 4:Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round

Answer: There was no specific HR round but some questions like Introduce yourself or tell me about your resume were there in the technical rounds itself.

Question 5:Key factors for your selection

Answer: Go for the basics.

Start from the very basic approach, put all the test cases that will fail, and gradually move to the optimised approach.

Question 6:Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop

Answer: Most important : DSA
Network is not that important but if you’ve time, go for it.

Question 7:Advice to juniors for cracking HR round

Answer: Be prepared with your introduction. Those 90 seconds will make a huge impact on the interviewer.

Also while sitting idle, keep on thinking about what to speak during the HR Round.
