Question 1: Introduce yourself to our readers.

Answer: I am Ishaan Takkar, currently in my final year at TIET and pursuing my internship at Frugal testing.

Question 2: Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round, and type of test platform (online – amcat, hackerearth, etc / offline)

Answer: No written test
Assessment Session(2 assignments) (3 days provided)
1 Asked to automate a website using selenium and java- I automated the SpiceJet website.
2 Theoretical process- 15 questions based on selenium and java.

Question 3: Describe your all technical interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round (if any) (please share coding questions if possible)

Answer: 3 Technical rounds
Questions related to Data Structures, Testing and Puzzles/Aptitude
Data Structures- Basic questions of arrays and strings with a time limit of 2-3 minutes
Testing- (what is selenium?, Basic architecture of Selenium, Testing concepts, etc.)
Puzzles- Gfg puzzles

Question 4: Describe your all HR interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round

Answer: Basic HR policies
strength, weakness

Question 5: What were the key factors for your selection?

Answer: Clear concept and confidence.

Question 6: What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?

Answer: 1. Good command on DSA
2. Practice Aptitude questions
3. Practice Analytical question
4. Review Interview prep from platforms like gfg

Question 7: According to you, what role do extracurricular activities as well as participation in societies play?

Answer: It helps you with better interaction with team and Improves of range of network which play an important role in the future. It improves your communication skills and your interaction with your peers.

Answer: Try to do as many internships as possible(at least 2 in your second -third year)
Start coding in early college life
Explore as many fields before choosing one
Make a mentor in college to guide you in your college life.
In Placement0 season try to give most of the interviews to help you know your shortcoming cause you will never be fully prepared.

Here are the questions we asked Abhishu Sharma to know about his interview experience.

Question 1: Introduce yourself to our readers.

Answer: My name is Abhishu Sharma. I am a fourth-year student in Thapar and my branch is Electronics and Computer Engineering. I am a self-motivated person and I love to do problem-solving questions.

Question 2: Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round, and type of test platform (online – amcat, hackerearth, etc / offline)

Answer: There was no online test. The company gave us an assignment to do which was based on technology which this company specializes in like Selenium. We were shortlisted on the basis of how well we did the assignment as the assignment was of 100 marks.

Question 3: Describe your all technical interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round (if any) (please share coding questions if possible)

Answer: There were three technical interviews. There were two coding questions in each round and there were questions on the project. We were given 4-5 picture puzzles to solve. One logical question was also asked. The coding questions were to reverse an array, to reverse a string, and to find palindrome strings.

Question 4: Describe your all HR interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round

Answer: It was not a complex round. They needed interns which were quick learners. They needed persons who are ready to work in the company if they are given a full-time offer in the company after six months of their internship.

Question 5: What were the key factors for your selection?

Answer: 1. Basic knowledge about coding.
2. Good projects
3. Confidence

Question 6: What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?

Answer: Be good at coding. Have a thorough knowledge of your projects. Be good at DBMS(DataBase Management System), OS(Operating System), and OOPS(Object Oriented Programming).

Question 7: According to you, what role do extracurricular activities as well as participation in societies play?

Answer: Communication skills get better. We get to interact with the seniors.

Question 8: Any Other Advice you would like to give to your juniors?

Answer: One can explore different fields of technology like machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science and identify your area of interest and make a project in that field.

Answer: Hey,I m mohneesh agarwal currently studying in fourth year.

Question 2:Describe your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).

Answer: As we know during placement season many companies came to our college as a candidate you have much to do, like wise preparation, company research and you have to stay active on sites like LinkedIn as well.

Answer: I don’t know why the company didn’t conduct online test and they just shortlist 10 students for interview on the basis of
resume. 4 students didn’t appear for interview and out of 6 we 3 were got se;ected on the basis of our resume selected and the 4 students who had not given interview they were blacklisted by our college.

Answer: I didn’t give any HR interview round

Question 5:Key factors for your selection.

Answer: I had made my resume very strong and my profile on LinkedIn was very good.

Question 6:What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?

Answer: We should also focus to make our LinkedIn profile more active because sometimes the company can hire you on that basis also

Question 7:Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop.

Answer: Technical skills are important and they should know a programming language, web designing.Do as much as competitive programming because it will help you to solve question fastly,

Answer: They help you to build a good personality and you also get the experience of working with different people to make some work count.You get a leadership quality and know how to work in a group

Answer: I didn’t give HR so I don’t have any idea

Answer: I believe all have different minds and different thinking but we all should do hard work to get success, at some point we will get what we wanted to have.
