HR dived into probability & statistics to check how well I do with numbers. A good command over mathematics and calculations is must as the use of claculators is not allowed.
The guesstimate questions were like, for example a Starbucks outlet is opening in Patiala , you have to estimate the no. of cups served in a day.

Second round started with few HR questions. Feel free to ask any doubt that you have about the company or the job profile. In the later half of the interview case study was discussed.
Each interview went on for about an hour.

Answer: They should master at least one designing software. Having good knowledge of min two core subjects will be very beneficial.

Question 8:According to you, what role does extra curricular activities as well as participation in societies play?

Answer: Extra curricular plays vital role in personal grooming. It helps you build several strengths which the companies need in a candidate, be it leadership qualities, handling work under pressure, managing unforseen situations and problem solving approach. Choose the societies wisely(in which you are interested) and not get enrolled in each and everyone of them. Also don’t run after certificates, they are just pieces of paper.

Question 9:What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?

Answer: Gather all your thoughts first and then speak. Don’t contradict yourself in further answers. It’s always better to take a minute and then give your best shot. Think of yourself as being involved in a conversation(professional) and not as some robot, simpling answering the questions asked. Work on your gestures, facial expressions, eye contact(must), don’t ponder here and there while answering the questions. And lastly it does no harm to keep a good smile on your face.
