Question 4: Describe your all HR interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round

Answer: I had 1 HR round in which general questions like where do you see yourself in 5 years, what do you expect from the company, etc were asked. HR round happened on the same day as the technical round and the results were also declared the same day. 7 people got selected.
We got over with the entire interview process in 2 days.

Question 5: What were the key factors for your selection?

Answer: The biggest factor was consistency. Although I started preparing late as I started with DS Algo in my 3rd year but I was consistent also I was practicing coding questions on Leetcode,
Codeforces from the beginning only and that really helped me despite starting late.

Question 6: What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?

Answer: It depends. If you want to go towards Competitive Programming then you should go deep down in DS Algo but if your interest lies in software development then you should focus on the development part. Having a well-built project is very important and having a good GitHub account as well.

Question 7: According to you, what role do extracurricular activities as well as participation in societies play?

Answer: I think extracurricular activities play a very imp role in shaping one’s future. They provide you exposure which also helps in enhancing your communication skills as once you enter a company, you will have to interact with a lot of people. So, take part in extracurricular activities and learn to manage your time because it’s not about how much you study but how good you study.

Question 8: Any Other Advice you would like to give to your juniors?

Answer: Start early. Start today. I’m emphasizing this part because I started late and I don’t want my juniors to make the same mistakes. Also, don’t be pressurised, don’t be stressed, and don’t be afraid. Learn to take chances. Sit for off-campus placements as well. You will get to learn a lot.
