Here are the questions we asked from Harleen Kaur Dua to know about her interview experience.

Question 1:Introduce yourself to our readers.

Answer: I am a thapar university student with specialisation in ECE branch I was always interested in IT field so to learn coding I joined online course on c++ and data structures as I wanted to go in IT field and so it happened I got interned in blackrock . As a person I am a fun loving ,sincere and hardworking .I give my 100 % in every thing I aim at .

Question 2:Describe Your written test experience specifying number of rounds ,details of each round and type of test platform(online -amcat,hackerearth etc offline)

Answer: Written test was composed of three sections 1st section consisted of mcqs on classes and data structures 2nd section were mcqs on SQL queries and 3rd section was aptitude comprising both quantitative and data interpretation and online test was based on their self-made platform

Question 3:Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any)(please share coding questions if possible)

Answer: I gave just one technical round in which they asked me to introduce myself after that they asked me questions from the projects I mentioned in my CV and then they asked me couple of questions on pointers and oops concepts and a code to optimize bubble sort I gave all my answers very confidently .I was directly called for HR without any further technical interview. Some students gave 2 to 3 rounds of technical interviews also.

Question 4:Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round

Answer: In HR round there was a panel of 2 HR members they asked me to tell them my strength and weaknesses and whether I wanna do higher studies or not. They were trying to know my interests and my capabilities.

Question 5:Key factors for your selection

Answer: My confidence ,attitude and yes most importantly my technical knowledge.
I mastered myself in c++ and data structures

Project which I mentioned in my resume on security using digital signatures .

Question 6:Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop

Answer: I would suggest that you should master yourself in at least one computer language. It could be any language c++ , Java ,Python etc

Question 7:Advice to juniors for cracking HR round

Answer: Speak confidently and please don’t panic they are just testing your confidence.

You should know your strengths and weaknesses and interests

Work on communication skills.

The most important is you should know about the company you are giving interview for . you should know the technologies they work on ,their history and their future aspects.

Question 8:How important do you think are co-curricular activities (placement point-of-view) (1 – Very Low, 10 – Very High)

Answer: 5

Question 9:Some of the projects that you found interesting (or) worked on

Answer: I did a project on security using digital signatures in which I used c++ and networking algorithms which helped me a lot in my interview
