Here are the questions we asked from Harshit Grover to know about his interview experience.
Question 1:Introduce yourself to the readers.
Answer: I am a patient & hardworking guy who never gives up.
Question 2:Describe your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).
Answer: 4 rounds were conducted
-Aptitude Questions- 15 min
-Attention to detail- 15-20 min
Question 3:Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any)(please share coding questions if possible).
Answer: Coding questions were mostly based on application. Some questions revolved around DBMS, Data Structures, OOPs .
Question 4:Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.
Answer: There was no specific HR round, it was sort of mix both technical round & HR round named as interview round.
In interview round there were in-depth discussions about the projects I have done, it revolved around scenarios of data table given by them.
It was followed by a 2nd round taken by the director of the company in which puzzle questions were asked & discussions were there around the blockchain project which I have done.
Question 5:Key factors for your selection.
Answer: “You are the driver of your interview”
Be specific about what you have done so the company knows you better & the questions are asked from that domain only.
I would say being patient, working hard & never loosing hope is the thing that gave me edge from others.
Question 6:What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?
Answer: I would suggest students to learn other languages apart from the academics, google about languages, try them out. I would suggest to begin this from first year so that you can move on making projects in second year or can go for internships which will definitely help you to be spotlight in placements.
Question 7:Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop.
Answer: Have a grip on DBMS, DS, OOPs. Coding questions language differ from company to company.
Take part in hackathons, competitions of coding as they are really a great place to learn & grow. You will learn immensely in one night then you can ever imagine.
Question 8:According to you, what role does extra curricular activities as well as participation in societies play?
Answer: If you have interests that you want to pursue or want to learn something new then definitely go for the societies. It can help you give different perspective about academics & can also open alternate choices.
Question 9:What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?
Answer: “Think out loud”
Whenever you are asked a question, express your thoughts clearly so that the interviewer gets a clear idea about you & you never know what may impress the person on the other side of the table.
Question 10:Any other advice you would like to give to your juniors?
Answer: There are many platforms like LeetCode, Codechef, Codeforces, Hackerrank where you can start learning & take part in competitions & it can really help you to grow.

Question 13:What should a resume/ CV contain?
Answer: Mention clearly about the parts you have contributed in projects. Be honest about it & have those things on your resume in which you can speak confidently.
Question 14:How to face rejections in placements?
Answer: I would suggest talk to you friends as they can help you to look at an angle which you are not able to see. Have patience & always believe in yourself as better opportunities are on the way.
Instead of wasting your time on regretting the interview that has happened, focus on the next one.
Question 15:What are the things freshers should focus on?
Answer: Enjoy the moments in college, relax yourself as you rightfully deserve it but have a plan for the next years & starting working on things in 1st year.
