Here are the questions we asked from Harshita Bajaj to know about her interview experience.

Question 1:Introduce yourself to the readers.

Answer: Hi! I’m Harshita Bajaj, a student of Thapar University. I am a person who is passionate and ambitious and I do whatever is given to me whole heartedly. I believe in myself and I don’t ever give up in life. I am an extremely organised person and a big time workaholic.

Question 2:Describe your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).

Answer: This round had three parts
1. Aptitude
2. Coding MCQs
3. Coding (2Qs.)

Question 3:Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any)(please share coding questions if possible).

Answer: Questions related to coding, SQL, DBMS and the projects I had worked on in college.

Question 4:Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.

Answer: Questions regarding the decisions and choices I would make in certain situations, about my life, where do I see myself in the next 5 years.

Question 5:Key factors for your selection.

Answer: My hard work on my coding skills as I had to compete with students of other branches as well like computer science.
Brushing up my technical skills.

Question 6:What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?

Answer: Don’t be a bookworm, focus on building your personality as well because you need to clear the written round first and then sit for the interviews as well. So you need to portray yourself confidently and should be able to answer the questions of the interviewer smartly.

Question 7:Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop.

Answer: Data structures and one coding language needs to be prepared very nicely if one wants to apply for an IT company.
Core subjects of your branch also need to be a major point of focus.

Question 8:According to you, what role does extra curricular activities as well as participation in societies play?

Answer: Societies and extra curricular activities play a very important role in helping you build up a personality and help you learn how to manage uncertain situations. They help you build up your confidence tremendously.

Question 9:What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?

Answer: Be truthful, don’t try to fake it. Be real, be yourself. Avoid giving those cliche answers and be honest.

Question 10:Any other advice you would like to give to your juniors?

Answer: Explore everything in college but learn how to manage things better. Don’t be a bookworm, what matters more than your CGPA is the way you present your knowledge. Make as many memories as you can in college, these four golden years of your life won’t come back again.
