Here are the questions we asked from Kartikay to know about his interview experience.
Question 1: Introduce yourself to our readers.
Answer 1: Just an average kid with a knack for reading random stuff.
Question 2: Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).
Answer: There was first an online test to shortlist for workshop. 25 mins for 30 questions (10 Apti, 10 financial news, 10 market analysis) and 10 mins for an essay (very important). It was held on cocubes.com. I think that essay is very important for getting shortlisted.
Question 3: Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any).
Answer: In the workshop they taught us accounting statements like balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and different ratios. After the workshop there was a 12 MCQs and 3 subjective questions which were to be attempted in 30 mins. Then there is a 40 mins case study to make your own balance sheet depending upon the case study.
Question 4: Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.
Answer: After the both of these are evaluated, there are interviews. Puzzles,Guest estimates,Your future plans,generic HR questions,Your performance in case study,other accounting terminologies were discussed.
Question 5: What do you think were key factors for your selection?
Answer: I was able to connect with interviewer with a smiling face.
Question 6: What would you like to advise juniors for cracking Technical round of this company?
Answer: Learn accounting and finance terms and statements from Investopedia prior to coming of J.P Morgan.It will help.
Question 7: What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?
Answer: At the end of workshop everybody is tired,so try to remain fresh and put a reassuring smile when going for interview.Body language makes a huge impact. Prepare for everything written in your resume.
