Cgpa Cutoff: 7.5
Interview Difficulty Level: It was quite difficult. I would rate it to be 7. (1-very easy, 10-very difficult)
Here are the questions we asked Nikhil Verma to know about his interview experience.
Question 1: Introduce yourself to our readers.
Answer: I am Nikhil Verma. Currently pursuing internship at Patient Bond. I am pursuing Computer Science B.E at Chitkara University, Rajpura.
Question 2: Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round, and type of test platform (online – amcat, hackerearth, etc / offline)
Answer: One written round.
Platform – it was an offline exam, a center-based exam.
There were almost about 20-25 students for this particular test domain in the exam center. Out of that only 4 were selected in that written round.
Question 3: Describe your all technical interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round (if any) (please share coding questions if possible)
Answer: There was one round.
The duration of the exam was 2 hours and there was negative marking.
The exam includes three different sections:-
1. Aptitude section.
2. Coding section.
3. Theory subject questions like – DBMS, OS, Computer Networking.
Question 4: Describe your all HR interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round
Answer: There was one H.R round and it was a telephonic call.
In that, they asked questions like –
1. How was your exam.
2. Why you want to join the company.
3. What were difficulties did you face.
4. What are your skills.
I used YouTube to prepare all such types of questions.
Question 5: What were the key factors for your selection?
Answer: 1. Mental Ability.
2. Knowledge of programming language i.e. JAVA.
Question 6: What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?
Answer: OOPs concept, DBMS, OS, and Aptitude.
Question 7: According to you, what role do extracurricular activities as well as participation in societies play?
Answer: 1. Leadership Quality.
2. Communication Skills.
3. Explore with new skills.
Question 8: Any Other Advice you would like to give to your juniors?
Answer: 1. Focus more on the basic concepts in programming languages.
2. Have a good grip over theory subjects like – DBMS, O.S.
3. For basic preparation use hackerrank and leetcode.
4. For preparation use platforms like – Interview-Bit
