Here are the questions we asked from Pankhuri Goyal to know about her interview experience.
Question 1:Introduce yourself to the readers.
Answer: I am Pankhuri Goyal, 4th year, ENC Student, currently interned at Mentor Graphics and placed at Comviva
Question 2:Describe your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).
Answer: We had 4 rounds in total, out of which 2 were written tests.
1. AMCAT test to check our technical skills and aptitude
2. Write-up round where we had to write a short paragraph expressing our thought process on a topic- IF INTELLIGENCE GREW ON TREES.
Question 3:Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any)(please share coding questions if possible).
Answer: Technical interview was focussed primarily on some basic concepts and advanced problems of Data Structures and a small part of OS.
Question 4:Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.
Answer: HR Round comprised of various HR questions like why should we select you, why comviva, future plans etc; an exchange of thoughts on the write-up topic; discussion about safety of women in Haryana; What I like about my state etc.
Question 5:Key factors for your selection.
Answer: In the technical round, some basic concepts of DSA and my approach for some new advanced problems, made the interviewer select me.
In the HR round, the interviewer speciallly gave me this feedback that i was very confident while expressing my ideas, and was clear about my thought process. As i and the interviewer were having a basic discussion abt women safety and write-up topic, I didnt change my thought process to allign with him which impressed him.
Question 6:What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?
Answer: Technical and coding skills, as clearing the online test is the priority.
Communication skills for the interview

Question 7:Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop.
Answer: Try to focus on basic concepts and definitions which can cause a problem in interviews.
Question 8:According to you, what role does extra curricular activities as well as participation in societies play?
Answer: Extra curricular activities as well as participation in societies are very important as they show your enthusiam to learn something new, your activeness, management, planning, and other qualities like team play and leadership. An interviewer learns about your soft skills through your extra- curriculur activities.
Question 9:What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?
Answer: HR round is easy- It is a myth.
Introduce yourself, why this company, future goals and other basic HR questions should always be prepared beforehand.
Knowing about the company before the interview is a must.
Question 10:Any other advice you would like to give to your juniors?
Answer: Prepare all the projects, subjects, tech skills and other details mentioned in Resume well as we only drive our interview. Resume and our introduction in the beginning decides how our interview is going to proceed. So, prepare your introduction well drawing the interviewer’s attention to your strong subjects and projects.
