Here are the questions we asked from Parul Bansal to know about her interview experience.

Question 1:Introduce yourself to the readers.

Answer: I am Parul Bansal, currently in 4th year pursuing COE at TIET. I am a keen learner who likes exploring different fields. I like coding and into ML, web development. Besides this i am into management as well.

Question 2:Describe your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).

Answer: The test was on Naukri.com ‘s platform only. This round had 35 questions which were to be done in 40 minutes. There were two sections. First one was the aptitude which consisted of 15 questions. The second section had 20 questions which were related to coding. Questions related to finding output, error were asked.

Question 3:Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any)(please share coding questions if possible).

Answer: So I had 3 technical interviews. The first round was about 40 minutes long. Questions from resume, related to projects were asked. Two coding related questions were also asked related to arrays and sorting. The second round was 1 hour long. Again in this, questions related to coding and projects were asked. Questions from OS(virtual memory, swapping) and DBMS were also asked. The third round was 35 minutes long. I was asked to write a code for tic tac toe. One puzzle related question was also asked.

Question 4:Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.

Answer: I had 1 HR round. This round was more of a conversation. They asked me about my family and why would i like to join the company. This was basically to test my communication skills.

Question 5:Key factors for your selection.

Answer: I had strong academics. I was good in competitive programming too. Also i was able to present myself well during the interview.

Question 6:What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?

Answer: Academics should be the first priority. After academics you should do whatever interests you.

Question 7:Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop.

Answer: Focus on levelling up your coding skills. Pay more attention to DSA, DBMS, OS and computer networking.

Question 8:According to you, what role does extra curricular activities as well as participation in societies play?

Answer: As such societies do not play any direct role during placements. But they do develop your personality as a whole.

Question 9:What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?

Answer: Refer the Powerpoint presentation of the company. Be clear with everything.
Prepare basic questions.
Have good command skills.

Question 10:Any other advice you would like to give to your juniors?

Answer: Patience is the key. Just believe in yourself. Try to maintain a balance between academics and co-curriculars. And do some good projects which helps alot.
