Question 2: Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).

Answer: First round was online coding test conducted on HackerEarth which consisted of 2 sections:

MCQs and Coding questions.

Total marks were ~150 (I don’t remember exactly)

5 Technical+Aptitude MCQs (10 marks each)

2 Coding questions:

First question was of simple dp (40 marks)

Second question was a slight variation of Rat in a maze problem (Backtracking) in which rat can go in all 4 directions (60 marks)

Question 3: Describe your all technical interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round.

Answer: There were 2 rounds of interviews (both being technical).

For the first round, there were around 90 students so it was an easy round. The only question I was asked in this round apart from some general questions was : “to reverse every k nodes of a linked list”.

That round was completed in 20-30 minutes.

Now for next round, they shortlisted around 30-40 candidates. This round was also technical and very easygoing. The interviewer was very friendly and also belonged to my hometown (this boosted my confidence). He asked me questions from every subject: DS, Algo, DBMS, OS, OOPS and also about my projects. The questions were quite easy. Some questions were: Print top view of a binary tree, remove loop from a linked list, slight variation of ‘Minimum number of platforms needed at a station’, DBMS select queries, Process vs Thread and many more like these.

Question 4: What do you think were key factors in your selection?

Answer: Hardworking + Luck

Question 5: What would you like to advise juniors for cracking the HR round?

Answer: Just be yourself. No need to fake anything.

Question 6: Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop

Answer: Just get your hands on all the ds and algo questions on GeeksForGeeks. Do as many questions of Dynamic Programming as possible
