Here are the questions we asked from Pranav Mahajan to know about his interview experience.

Question 1:Introduce yourself to our readers:

Answer: undefined

Question 2:Introduce yourself to the readers

Answer: I believe in smart work rather than hard work and have good communication skills.

Question 3:According to you, what role does extra curricular activities as well as participation in societies play?

Answer: I was in the adventure club, so I was part of around 20-21 trips. I learned how to talk to people and manage things which have helped me a lot. I would rate them as 7/10.

Question 4:Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).

Answer: The written test was conducted on IBM’s own platform. The first section contained questions for testing your cognitive ability and the second was a psychometry test in which you had to agree or strongly disagree depending upon the given situation. The third section was verbal reasoning which had questions for testing your business English. The fourth section had questions related to coding.

Question 5:Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any).

Answer: In the technical round, firstly they did the resume proving, asking me about everything I had mentioned in it. Then they asked around 2-3 questions in link list and queues.

Question 6:Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.

Answer: There was no separate interview for this. In the technical round itself I was asked about my drawbacks and how would I work for eliminating them.

Question 7:What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?

Answer: Try to attend CTD classes if you can, hone your communication skills and try to be confident in front of the interviewer because at the end of the day what matters is that you were able to convince the interviewer about your skillset.

Question 8:Any Other Advice you would like to give to your juniors?

Answer: I would say if you are from any other branch and want to start coding, then the early you start, the better position you are in. And also mention only those things in resume that you have really done and are of more importance.
