CGPA Cutoff: 7 was cut off for starting criteria but students over 8 were allowed to give written test.
Here are the questions we asked from Pratyush Kumar to know about his interview experience.
Question 1:Introduce yourself to the readers.
Answer: I am Pratyush Kumar, I am from Electronics and Communication Engineering. Although I am from a core branch, my interest lies in the field of software development and nothing satisfies me more than learning new technologies and solving problems, also I work as a Teaching Assistant for coding blocks for C++,C and DSA courses.
Question 2:Describe your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).
Answer: The platform used for written exam was HirePro. There were total 75 questions and there were 3-4 sections one of the sections being Technical and questions were asked about C/C++ output questions. There were MCQs were from Operating System and DBMS. First 3 sections included questions from Aptitude, Logical reasoning and Data Interpretation. The test was of 90 mins and questions asked were 75, so it was all about speed. The cut off for the written test was 48 marks.
Question 3:Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any)(please share coding questions if possible).
Answer: There were 2 technical rounds and 1 HR round, the first technical round took about 50 mins and both technical rounds were elimination rounds.
In the first round they took my resume and asked questions about the projects that I have mentioned in my resume. My project were based on Web Dev and ML, so detailed questions were asked from that. At the end they asked questions about DS and Algo. They also asked me to write a code for right side view of the Tree. So basically they grilled me about my projects and then basic questions of DS, Algo were asked.
In the second round we discussed about projects and basic system design questions were asked, difference between nosql and sql database were asked. They also discussed about my projects and since i used mongoDB in my projects so they asked why I used it and why not other.
Question 4:Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.
Answer: HR questions included basic behavioral questions and questions like why you want to join this organization. They also asked me to tell me something which is not written on my resume and you enjoy doing so I told them that I like Video editing, Trekking and Travelling, then they asked me why I hadn’t mentioned them in my resume so I told them that it is a technical company and job profile is also technical so be ready to face these questions.
they also asked me about my family background and my future plans.
Question 5:Key factors for your selection.
Answer: I would say consistency in practice of my DS, Algo either from LeetCode or Hackerank. I did daily 3-4 DS, Algo questions which helped me alot and you should have good meaningful projects.
Question 6:Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop.
Answer: For technical you should really be proficient in coding and for theory you should have clear concept of DS, Algo.
Question 7:According to you, what role does extra curricular activities as well as participation in societies play?
Answer: They matter to a limit, being in a society gives you confidence to speak and these qualities help you in Non-tech companies. You learn public speaking which really helps you in GD in placement rounds. They matter upto a certain limit.
Question 8:What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?
Answer: They asked basic behavioral questions and asked me about the company so be prepared to these questions in advance.

Answer: Enjoy you college days, you will not have these days again and most important of all study.
