Here are the questions we asked from Pulkit Gupta to know about his interview experience.
Question 1:Introduce yourself to the readers.
Answer: My name is Pulkit Gupta. I am from Charkhi Dadri Haryana. I considered myself as a tech enthusiast person. I love to explore different technologies.
Question 2:Describe your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).
Answer: The test consists of two parts. One was logical reasoning and the other related to OOPS concepts. In total there were 35 questions. 20 questions from logical reasoning and 15 questions from OOPS. The time given was 40 minutes. The level of this test was moderate.
Question 3:Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any)(please share coding questions if possible).
Answer: In total there were 3 technical rounds.
The first technical round was for around 1 hr to 1hr 15minutes. They asked me to introduce myself and then asked my interest in subjects. He then started asking questions from DBMS, OOPS, OS. In the end, they asked me questions from DSA. The questions were basically from the concept of the tree. 2-3 questions were like to check whether the binary tree is BST or not. We have to answer in the least time complexity. Another question was finding the left view of the binary tree. In the end, they asked me to ask questions from them.
The second Interview was also around 60 minutes. In the starting, they asked me questions related to DSA. Questions were from Binary Search, finding the square root of any number, questions related to the linked list, one question was from trees also. Again we have to answer the questions in the least time and space complexity. After that, he asked me questions from DBMS, OS, OOPS. In both rounds, all the core subjects were covered along with DSA.
The third round was the HR round.
The fourth round of interviews was taken by the director of Info Edge. He asked a total of two questions. One question from DSA. Asked me to code for the tic tac toe game. It was from game theory. He gave me 15-20 minutes. The other question was related to the puzzle.
Question 4:Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.
Answer: The third round was the HR round. Hr was from our college. She was the 2012 alumni of our college. She asked me about my family backgrounds, my hobbies, why you want to join the Info edge. She asked my biggest accomplishment in college. I answered them, my selection in JP Morgon for an internship. They asked me questions about my internship also.

Answer: Key factors for my selections were:
My practice for DSA concepts.
Revised a lot of my core subjects like OOPS, DBMS, OS.
Rejection also helped me to learn a lot
Question 6:What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?
Answer: Stick to basic. One should have basic knowledge of subjects studied in college. Focus mainly on DBMS, OS, OOPS, CN. You should have a lot of practice in DSA.
Every student must have at least one project in his/her resume.
Question 7:Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop.
Answer: Explore a lot of technologies. There are so many things happening in the world. Try to go deeper into one technology, in which you are interested. You should have a basic knowledge of the technologies you are learning.
Question 8:According to you, what role does extra curricular activities as well as participation in societies play?
Answer: I think for a tech role in any of the companies, this extracurricular or any participation in societies doesn’t play any role.
It just helps you in non-tech roles like enhancing managerial skills.
Question 9:What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?
Answer: Just be honest with yourself. Prepare well for the company you are going to give an interview. One should know what the respective company is doing, and at what stage currently they are.

Answer: Enjoy your college life. This is the most memorable time of our lives. Study hard and party time. Manage your time precisely.
