Here are the questions we asked Ravindranath Prasad Yadav to know about his interview experience.
Question 1: Introduce yourself to our readers.
Answer: Hello everyone, I am Ravindranath studying B.E,2022 batch.I am an Electronics and Communication Engineer. Recently I got an internship at Keysight Technologies. I want to help my juniors using this medium.
Question 2: Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round, and type of test platform (online – amcat, hackerearth, etc / offline)
Answer: The online test was held on Wheebox.It had general aptitude questions. There were circuit questions based on electronics. Circuits were based on multivibrators, switching circuits, RC Filter and we had to identify the circuits. Some questions were based on finding the output of MUX. Questions were based on subjects like Analog, Digital, Linear Integrated Circuits, and Model Control Theory. Not more than 5 questions were related to coding.
Question 3: Describe your all technical interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round (if any) (please share coding questions if possible)
Answer: There was only one round. First, they asked me to introduce myself then they asked about my projects. They asked me about combinational and sequential circuits. They asked about the oscilloscope and how does it works and have I worked on it or not. Then they asked me about different types of noise. They asked about ADC(Analog to Digital Converter). They asked about FFT(Fast Fourier Transform). Then they asked me if I know about my role or not.
Question 4: Describe your all HR interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round
Answer: There was no HR round.
Question 5: What were the key factors for your selection?
Answer: My basics of electronics were very clear.
Question 6: What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?
Answer: If you want to get into a good core Electronics company, first thing is to have your notes of all major subjects and you should revise them thoroughly and have confidence. Digital Electronics is very important for some companies and Analog is important for some. The main subjects were Analog Communication, Digital Communication, Linear Integrated Circuits and Applications, Model Control Theory, and Digital System Design.
Question 7: According to you, what role do extracurricular activities as well as participation in societies play?
Answer: Societies help in improving your communication skills. Being part of society you have overall development. So in interviews, you will be able to answer confidently. If you would not be able to answer any question then you would know how to take hints from the interviewer and proceed further. If you are not part of any society then if you don’t know any answer you will be blank.
Question 8: Any Other Advice you would like to give to your juniors?
Answer: Be focused. Prepare well before your interview and be confident. You should not be disappointed if you are not selected in your dream company. Focus on knowledge and increase your knowledge freely. Enjoy the subjects don’t just mug up things.
