Here are the questions we asked Ritwik Mehta to know about his interview experience.
Question 1: Introduce yourself to our readers.
Answer: My name is Ritwik Mehta and currently, I am pursuing electrical engineering from Thapar University, Patiala and as of now I am currently an associate product manager at college Duniya and also working as a political consultant where I am working with two major political parties of India i.e. Shiromani Akali Dal managing the Punjab elections and BJP managing the GOA and UTTARAKHAND elections and apart from that I have my startup i.e. NITI TANTRA which is a huge policy analysis think tank.
I have two years of experience in policy research and I am also working as a country leader representing INDIA at United Nations major Group involving children. I have earlier work with some major politicians like Subramanian Swamy and p Ravindranath and my major aim is to enter Indian politics.
Question 2: Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round, and type of test platform (online – amcat, hackerearth, etc / offline)
Answer: There was an aptitude test on the AMCAT platform which is mostly used for testing and practicing aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal reasoning questions.
Talking about the aptitude section it mostly consists of Mathematics, Time & work-related questions.
verbal ability section is like English subject …consisting comprehensions and all.
The logical Reasoning section is based on logic-based questions mostly from practical life.
Question 3: Describe your all technical interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round (if any) (please share coding questions if possible)
Answer: Basically selection is based on 3 Rounds :
1. Resume Selection
2. Aptitude Test
3. Interview Round
Question 4: Describe your all HR interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round
Answer: In the interview, they generally ask questions based on your CV, it also depends on the interviewer, but mostly the questions are related to coding, and there is also a probability that not a single question would be asked from you related to coding, it depends in your CV again.
Question 5: What were the key factors for your selection?
Answer: My portfolio, my communication skills, and detailed knowledge of the subjects.
Question 6: What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?
Answer: Explore new things, Always be hustlers, don’t sit free, and always try to learn something new.
Question 7: According to you, what role do extracurricular activities as well as participation in societies play?
Answer: There are many societies, but you have to choose wisely, that which is best for you and helps you in building yourself. If possible try to join coding-related societies, they provide an easy atmosphere to enhance your coding skills.
Question 8: Any Other Advice you would like to give to your juniors?
Answer: Try new things, explore yourself, and take decisions.
