Here are the questions we asked from Sahil Vaid to know about his interview experience.
Question 1:Introduce yourself to our readers:
Answer: I am from ECE, have a CGPA of 8.27. i like to code.
Question 2:Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).
Answer: There were four Rounds one online coding round and 3 interviews(2 technical and 1 HR). The online round was held on Samsung’s Own software. There was one question and we had 3 hours and 10 submissions. There were 50 test cases to get interview call you must pass all those 50 test cases. My question was based on backtracking.
Question 3:Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any).
Answer: There were two technical interviews
In the first technical interview he asked me some questions on digital communication (since i was from ECE), he also asked me about my views on 4G and 5G. Then he moved towards coding he asked me questions about designing a system and what data structures would i use. He asked me also puzzles from backtracking. Then he asked me questions from OS about Threads and Processes.
In second round he asked me about data structures mainly.
In the interview i had to write codes on paper.
Question 4:Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.
Answer: The interviewer asked me about my background and if i had any plans of higher studies. Then he asked me about if i was comfortable to move in Bangalore. He asked me where i see myself in 5 years. Then he asked me how do i see myself achieving that.
Question 5:What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?
Answer: Just be confident and try not to lie. Don’t copy answers. Be fluent with your language.
Question 6:Any Other Advice you would like to give to your juniors?
Answer: Focus on coding, practice as many questions you can. Don’t take OOPs lightly. Study OS and basics of computer networks. Try solving some hard problems too.
