Here are the questions we asked from Saurav Dhiman to know about his interview experience.
Question 1:Introduce yourself to the readers.
Answer: My name is Saurav Dhiman and i am working as Software Developer in CDK Global.
Question 2:Describe your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).
Answer: First round was taken on computer and was based on aptitude questions along with one coding question. If u are good in coding, then cracking that coding question will not be very difficult for you. And according to me it depends on luck too. If you practice questions on CodeQuotient and such platforms, your chances of clearing the written exam increases manifolds.
Question 3:Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any)(please share coding questions if possible).
Answer: They took 2 rounds. First was based on projects that i made and this round was main out the two that i gave. Second round was nothing but a piece of cake. Don’t get hesitated even if you get rejected in technical round. Experience teaches you everything.
Question 4:Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.
Answer: That was a simple HR round. Since i was in football team so they asked couple of questions regarding football. This round is basically taken to know you better and this is the simplest round out of all.
Question 5:Key factors for your selection.
Answer: Enjoying is important, enjoy your life but be in senses of getting a good placement too. Study the subjects thoroughly and stay connected with studies at every point of time.
Question 6:Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop.
Answer: Have good hand on your coding and focus more on practical knowledge. Try to make good projects.
Question 7:According to you, what role does extra curricular activities as well as participation in societies play?
Answer: It doesn’t have any significant effect on your interview. In tech based companies what all matters is your technical knowledge not the curricular activities that you have participated in.
Question 8:What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?
Answer: Stay real and stay true to interviewer and to yourself too. No need to showoff for anything. If you want to clear this round, you have to show that how much excited you are to get into the company. Show your eagerness to answer.
Question 9:Any other advice you would like to give to your juniors?
Answer: Develop your speaking skills if you have dearth of them. You should know to put your point forward and believe in yourself.
