Interview Difficulty Level: If I talk about my interview, it was not too difficult. It was hardly 45-50 minutes long; my resume, projects, and research work were discussed. So I would rate it 3-4 on a scale of 10. (8/10) (1-very easy, 10-very difficult)
Here are the questions we asked Shivam Pundir to know about his interview experience.
Question 1: Introduce yourself to our readers.
Answer: Hello, my name is Shivam. I’m a member of myherupa, Enactus, and Lead. My area of interest is web development, and I have worked on various frameworks such as React, Node.js, Angular, and Django.
Question 2: Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round, and type of test platform (online – amcat, hackerearth, etc / offline)
Answer: There was an online written round that consisted of four sections. In the first section, there were some tricky MCQs on S’12; in the second section, there were coding MCQs followed by an aptitude round and attention to details round.
Question 3: Describe your all technical interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round (if any) (please share coding questions if possible)
Answer: There was one technical interview in which my projects and resume were discussed in depth. The only advice I would like to give here is not to include something you don’t know in your resume; it should be loud and clear.
Question 4: Describe your all HR interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round
Answer: The HR interview was a concise 10 minutes telephonic round. General questions like my knowledge about the company, future plans, preferred job location, etc., were asked.
Question 5: What were the key factors for your selection?
Answer: My good communication skills helped me articulate my thought process and explain my projects well, which was one of the key factors for my selection.
Question 6: What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?
Answer: In my opinion, a student should focus on their area of interest, whether it be competitive programming or web development, and give it a priority. But there should be a balance.
Question 7: According to you, what role do extracurricular activities as well as participation in societies play?
Answer: Extracurricular activities do help us with projects. It allows us to explore things apart from academics and gives a good impression to the interviewee.
