Here are the questions Aditya asked from Shivam to know about his interview experience.

Question 1:Introduce yourself to our readers.

Answer: I am from Muzaffarnagar Uttar Pradesh will be graduating from NIT Jalandhar as a chemical engineer this year (2019) and gonna start a career in this field.

Question 2:Describe Your written test experience specifying number of rounds ,details of each round and type of test platform(online -amcat,hackerearth etc offline)

Answer: They conducted pen paper test consisting of single round comprising of questions related to core background, Basic aptitude, Logical reasoning and english.

Question 3:Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any)(please share coding questions if possible)

Answer: There was an interview comprising of basic questions related to myself followed by technical questions regarding chemical engineering about various subjects and various operations in refinery.

Question 4:Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round

Answer: In my case there was only one interview and HR and the technical head were both present in the panel and HR asked a few basic questions about myself and my family in the beginning of interview followed by the technical question asked by the technical head.

Question 5: Key factors for your selection

Answer: I did my best and they liked it that’s the factor for my selection i guess.

Question 6: Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop

Answer: If you are from chemical engineering discipline and seeking for a job in core sector than it is necessary to have the basic knowledge of all the subjects, equipment and processes involved.

Question 7: Advice to juniors for cracking HR round

Answer: My interview was more about technical knowledge so i may not be able to tell the tested ways but as far as i think you just tell them whatever they ask honestly
