Q. Introduce yourself to the readers.
Answer: I’m a CS Junior in a university in Punjab, India. I do Mobile App Development with Flutter. Have experience of 2+ years. I widely contribute to open source, Flutter and Kubernetes are my favorites.

Q. Describe your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online
mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).
Answer: There was no written test.

Q. Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any)(please share coding
questions if possible).
Answer: There were two rounds of interviews. First-round was the coding round and the second round was the Application Design
round. First Round was about 45 minutes and the second round was of 1hr, separated by 30 minutes break. First-round consists of one coding question. The difficulty level easy, medium as per LeetCode standards. This question was previously asked. In the second round, around 25 minutes was based on resume discussion which includes projects. And another 30 minutes they asked me to design a basic service Application.

Q. Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.
Answer: There was no HR round.

Q. Key factors for your selection. *
Answer: Key Factors for my selection: 1.) Luck Factor, as I was familiar with all the questions asked      2.) I was familiar with google services.   3.) I was quite confident with all the topics mentioned in the Resume including the Projects. 4.) Knowing Flutter was also a plus point for me. As the software is created by Google.

Q. What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?
Answer: Data Structures and Algorithm is the topmost priority. Projects are also important, it will create a positive impact. Most
important manage your time precisely. For the role of Application Engineer, 50% DSA, 20% Application Design, 20% Projects, and 10% Resume.

Q. Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop.
Answer: Technical skills depend upon the interest like in which area you want to explore and all. But DSA is a must and you can go for App and Web development side by side. For this role, you should have an in-depth knowledge of Application Design. One should know the tech stack of google services like Google Cloud, Google Maps, Firebase, and Flutter. One should have a good knowledge of Android.

Q. According to you, what role does extra curricular activities as well as participation in societies play?
Answer: In my experience, extracurricular activities don’t play any role in placements. In the end, it’s your hard work and dedication.

Q. What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?
Answer: Since there was as such no HR round. But, in my opinion, try to be as much confident as you can and give smart answers.
Should know the strength and weakness of yourself.

Q. Any other advice you would like to give to your juniors?
Answer: Interact with your seniors and explore new things as much as you can. Focus on DSA and make it strong.
