Here are the questions we asked from Shivani Saini to know about her interview experience.
Question 1:Introduce yourself to the readers.
Answer: Hello all, My name is Shivani Saini and I’m perusing my computer Science engineering from Chitkara University. I am doing my internship in a reputed company named “Quick Heel”.
Question 2:Describe your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round and type of test platform ( If online mention the type of test platform eg. Hackereart, CoCubes, Amcat etc).
Answer: There was a online test. In online test we had 30-40 mcqs’ from Java. Mcat was a test taken for NON-UCA and the students who cracked that exam were considered eligible to give e-litmus test and to sit in the companies coming for UCA batch. Mcat was containing coding questions based on dynamic programming and strings.
Question 3:Describe your all technical interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any)(please share coding questions if possible).
Answer: There was just 1 technical round. In that particular interview they discussed everything from my project to DS. All the questions they wanted to ask be it be from my project or from the topics they wanted to discuss.
Question 4:Describe your all HR interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round.
Answer: If you are in HR round, you have already got the job. They just make you comfortable. This is not the selecting criteria. They asked about my plans, my family and stuff. They don’t want to listen ‘No’ from you. Show your eagerness to learn new things even if you don’t know that thing now.
Question 5:Key factors for your selection.
Answer: Stay confident. Its not about the language that you are speaking in, its about your personality and positive attitude.
Question 6:What are the things students should focus on in order of priority?
Answer: Focus on the you are good at. Don’t stuck yourself into many things. Do less but do properly. Don’t leave your basics.
They don’t expect you to have very deep knowledge about all the subjects but do have some knowledge about subjects like networking. Whichever language you do just do Data Structures with that. Don’t rust for every company that visit.
Question 7:Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop.
Answer: Focus on the projects you are making. Whatever you are learning try to implement those concepts in order to create a good project.
Question 8:According to you, what role does extra curricular activities as well as participation in societies play?
Answer: No no not really.
Question 9:What would you like to advise juniors for cracking HR round of this company?
Answer: D’not write anything in your resume that you don’t know. Be prepared with the answers like why you have made it and all.
Question 10:Any other advice you would like to give to your juniors?
Answer: Don’t take pressure a lot. Placement is just a day process. Some people say, it is a luck game. yes, it is but don’t wait for your luck to work. You will get job in just about a day. Don’t hesitate so much into doing anything. If you feel pressure, go and talk to your family and friends.
