Question 2: Describe Your written test experience specifying the number of rounds, details of each round, and type of test platform (online – amcat, hackerearth, etc / offline)
Answer: The written test was conducted online on the Wee-box platform. The questions were based on basic electrical engineering that you would have done during your academics for example there was a question where the supply frequency, rotor rpm, and no of poles were given and we were asked to calculate the slip of the induction motor.
Question 3: Describe your all technical interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round (if any) (please share coding questions if possible)
Answer: It was conducted on Microsoft teams. They will ask you tricky questions like why shouldn’t they hire you instead of why should they hire you. So you have to be careful while your answers, be careful while telling answers to questions about strength, your weakness, and how you are going to suffice that.
Question 4: Describe your all HR interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round
Answer: HR saw my resume and asked me whether I have done any work or project which is non-technical because my resume had a lot of hardcore technical projects. she asked me general stuff like what kind of public places do I go, what type of person I am, so I had to be very true to myself, so you can say that you are an introvert its ok but you have to specify how you counteract your introvertness in the time of need.
Question 5: What were the key factors for your selection?
Answer: Trust on my knowledge, helped me crack through different rounds of core companies.
Question 6: According to you, what role do extracurricular activities as well as participation in societies play?
Answer: I was part of TAAS. I felt like I got a place where I can express my ideas regarding astronomy. I suggest people join societies because in my case it helped me in improving my soft skill. It will give the response that you don’t how to tackle so that you can learn how to manage things and improve.
Question 7: Any Other Advice you would like to give to your juniors?
Answer: Have the courage to handle difficult things, if you don’t handle the situation now then you will always be dependent on others because just like a warrior you go into the battle alone though you may fail multiple times but you have to do it yourself. start doing projects from the second year itself, if you are really serious about your subject then make projects otherwise you won’t be able to build yourself gain knowledge and build stuff, all the best.
