Question 5:Key factors for your selection

Answer: I was good at Data structures. Did my homework about the company about what language they work on what are the services they provide and presented myself accordingly. Approached a question in a step wise manner. Remained calm throughout the process didn’t break verbal communication more more than a minute and explained my thought process that I use to solve a question. Showed Interest towards the company while hinting how I will be a valuable asset to them.

Question 6:Advice to juniors for technical skills they should develop

Answer: Command on Data Structures must be strong (I started from GFG then migrated to Leetcode and InterviewBit). Remain calm throughout the interview process. Don’t have too much expectations (just think you have come here to gain interview experience) as it will make you nervous and eventually you’ll fumble in front of interviewer. Do a thorough research on the company (what technology it works on and language it uses and if you have time then make projects on the same tech or atlest learn the tech or lang) as it will give you an edge towards other candidates. Be here in placement symposium hosted in summers after 3rd year they take interviews in the placement cell itself so the next time you come to give a real interview you feel confident as you would have given interview in the same room before. Subjects like OS, DBMS are icing on the cake. All the Best……

Question 7:Advice to juniors for cracking HR round

Answer: Research about the company what it works on and attend the ppt’s given by the company it helps a lot, find out what they exactly they want for their company.

Question 8:Which are the subjects one should have a thorough knowledge about, to gain an edge over other students (specific to your branch)?

Answer: Data structures, Networking and OS.
